Established in France in 1933, the Saur Group expanded in 1960, starting first in Western Africa, and then in Europe, Asia and South America. Several generations of experts worldwide have therefore contributed to building the expertise of the Group in the supply of drinking water, wastewater treatment services, engineering and energy. The Group entered a new phase of dynamic expansion outside France in 2008. Its growth strategy is now focused not only on countries like Spain, Poland, the UK and Senegal, where Saur has a long established presence, but also on more recently acquired positions in countries like Armenia and Saudi Arabia.

Saur operates in an array of different business sectors extended to infrastructure services, leisure and public amenities, all operated through various models of partnership contracts, with the aim to transfer knowledge and expertise.
